By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iran wants to use Spain's expertise to promote tourism, said Mohsen Jalalpour, Head of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

The establishment of hotels and tourist complexes can be atop agenda by Spanish companies in Iran, Iran's Mehr news agency quoted Jalalpour as saying September 7.

He made the remarks in a meeting with a Spanish trade delegation in Tehran.

Modern technologies and knowledge-based companies can be other grounds for cooperation between the two countries, he noted.

" Iran needs planes, trucks, and locomotives to expand its transport sector. Spain can cooperate with Iranian partners in this regard."

Spain was the 16th leading importer of Iranian non-oil goods during spring 2015, which corresponds to the first quarter of current Iranian calendar year, according to the Iran Customs Administration.

Iran exported $57.303 million of non-oil goods, mainly iron, saffron, grape and carpet, to Spain and imported $45.023 million of non-oil goods, mainly carbon electrodes, crane, printing ink and graph paper, from the country during the three-month period.
