By Fatih Karimov - Trend:

The China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (CPP) is interested to participate in various oil and gas projects in Iran, once the international sanctions are removed.

"We would like to participate in the large scale onshore/offshore pipelines, tank farms, FSF (Field Surface Facilities), refineries, LNG processing and receiving terminals, project integration management (including inspection, assessment, repair and rehabilitation, etc.)," a CPP official told Trend Jan. 13.

Operation and maintenance, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or EPC+F(Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Financing) projects in Iran's oil and gas industry as well as large scale potable water transmission line or water treatment plant project, telecommunications and power transmission or power plant project are also the areas of interest for the CPP in Iran.

The CPP was among the participants of the conference which was held last November in Tehran to introduce new oil contracts of the Islamic Republic called Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC).

The new contracts are attractive enough for the company, the official underlined.
