Iran has accomplished a 32-inch pipeline stretching from Sari to Moghanak for oil swap with Central Asia, according to Shirafkan Ghorbani, an official Iran Oil Pipeline and Communication Lines Company.

The refineries of Tehran and Tabriz will be parts of the swap operations, he said, Shana news agency reported February 8.

The pipeline is 178 kilometers long and uses 28 emergency block valves (LBV), along-route valves, and check valves.

Hosseinali Talebi, head of Sari Oil Products Distribution Company had previously said besides exporting oil to Central Asia, the line will create many job opportunities and help local revenue a lot.
