Iranian refineries process 1.735 million barrels of oil per day

Iranian refineries refined 1,734,652 barrels of crude oil and gas condensate per day during 11 months of last fiscal year (March 21 to February 20), Shaha reported.

According to the report, during 11 months, over 613 million barrels of crude oil and 19.5 million barrels of gas condensate were delivered to the refineries.

There is no official information about the output of oil products for last year, but the country delivered about 1.802 million barrels of oil per day to refineries in a fiscal year, correspondent to 2014, about 57 million barrels of oil per day less than in the previous year.

Some 96 percent account for fossil fuels in Iran's total primary energy consumption.

The country consumed 4.428 million barrels of oil per day in 2014. Some 68.8 percent of this volume accounted for oil and gas condensate and the remained volume - oil products.
