Total amount of the products loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports increase by 10 percent over the last Iranian calendar month (ended Aug. 22) compared to the same period last year.
According to the latest statistics by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, in the mentioned period, 23.22 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded at about 23 ports across the country.
The statistics also suggests that the volume of the non-oil products (loaded and unloaded) increased by seven percent, while the figure for oil products hiked by 11 percent.
In the mentioned period, 18.07 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded at the country’s ports.
The figure for loading oil products in the mentioned period is 12.975 million tons.
According to the statistics, 1.75 million tons of oil products have been unloaded in the mentioned period.
Iran also unloaded 3.4 million tons of non-oil products at its ports over the one-month period.
