An Iranian rail company and a Chinese counterpart have signed a contract for the production of 215 subway train wagons.
The wagons will be used in three major cities of Tabriz, Shiraz, and Isfahan, IRNA news agency reported October 4.
According to a 2025 outlook, Iran should double the number of its wagons, now at 2,250.
