TOSAN Banking and Payment Company has gathered a number of vendor companies in an annual venue in Tehran to showcase and share their experience in meeting business and end user demands.

“Of utmost important here is to see the best practices and share consultation and knowhow,” the company’s Managing Director Mohammad Mazaheri told Trend October 24.

Pointing out that the event is being held against the background of the removal of sanctions and Iran’s growing relations with the world, Mazaheri said, “We are here to draw the roadmap for the Iranian market. Although it is just Iran for the time being, we should be bringing in the five foreign companies that we are working with as well as more to follow.”

“We are moving toward an open system, allowing open technology for companies to share and integrate,” he said.

The sanctions were lifted following the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) which was put to practice in January. Under the years-long sanctions, Iran’s banking system was cut off from the global system. Over the past months, many banks and service providers have held similar venues on the just-opening Iranian market.

“As our basic approach, we support upstarts in FinTech (financial technology) and help them develop added value by constantly developing soft and hard ware to help people use more banking services,” the company’s Senior Manager of Software Development Homayoun Mahbubi told Trend correspondent.

TOSAN Corporation is a market-leading provider of banking software solutions to retail, corporate, private, microfinance banks in Iran.
