The Iranian government has announced it guarantees the purchase of wheat from farmers the current crop year at 13,000 rials ($0.4 at 32,165 rials per USD) per kilogram.
The price comes with an increase of 2 percent whereas economic inflation in Iran is currently close to 10 percent, Tasnim news agency reported December 9.
The government paid 147 trillion rials to buy wheat from farmers last crop year. The price for each kilo then was 12,700 rials.
