Iran says its gas export to Turkey remains unchanged, SHANA reported.

Reacting to a report published by Reuters, Majid Boujarzadeh, the spokesman of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), said Iran is exporting 30 million cubic meters per day (mcm/d) of gas to Turkey based on agreement.

Reuters quoted a Turkish industry source Dec. 14 that the flow of natural gas from Iran to Turkey has fallen by one-third due to harsh winter weather conditions.

“Turkish state pipeline operator Botas was to halve its natural gas supply to the private sector and state-owned power plants from Wednesday morning to meet rising demand from households due to cold weather,” Reuters reported citing energy sources.
