Turkish business delegation in Iran

A 20-strong business delegation from Turkey has visited Iran to seek cooperation venues in the post-sanctions neighboring country.

Headed by Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) Chairman Davut Cetin, the Turkish businessmen held B2B talks with Iranian counterparts at the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA), Trend correspondent reported from the TCCIMA January 15.

The delegation consisted of representatives working in such areas as construction, interior design, industrial machinery, equipment, furniture, tourism, SPA facilities, agriculture, real estate, sport complexes, transportation, petrochemicals, food and textile.

The delegation will head to Alborz Province, to the west of Tehran Province, on January 15 to hold similar meetings there as well.

Similar delegations from Ukraine, Bosnia, Italy, Croatia, Poland, France, and Estonia visited Alborz Province in the past year after Iran was freed from economic sanctions. The province is home to many major industrial complexes.
