Main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) sharply dropped by 1014.40 points or 1.28 percent to end trade at 78249.1 points on Jan. 24.
According to the TSE official website, about 1.1 billion shares valued at $55.8 million (1.7 trillion rials) were traded for the day.
The Price Index declined by 355 points or 1.28 percent to end at 27384.
The First Market lost 1074.7 points or 1.9 percent to post 55454.8.
The Second Market Index fell by 167 points or 0.10 percent to reach 167014.
The Industry Index dropped by 143.3 points or 0.21 percent to post 66675.6.
The TSE30 Index plunged 89.5 points or 2.75 percent to hit 3165.8.
The TSE50 Index declined by 55.9 points or 1.78 percent to reach 3080.9.
