Hospitality cutlery company Sola from the Netherlands is very optimistic about the Iranian market’s future and is looking forward to a booming business. The Holland-based company opened an agency in Iran in 2016.

“If nothing special happens and things go as they do now, in five years’ time we will have a very, very, very good market,” agency CEO Masoud Azadian told Trend February 7.

He explained that after the removal of sanctions on Iran in 2016, foreign investors have become very much more willing to invest in the hospitality business in Iran, depicting a bright future for Iran’s tourism industry.

He also said that the agency is working toward having the parent company produce household cutlery as well, since the Iranian household cutlery market can hold a lot of supply.

Sola is a leading hospitality cutlery producer in the world. Last year the company’s trade turnover hit 2 million euros, Azadian said.
