By Fatih Karimov - Trend: The chairman of the Iranian parliament's nuclear committee on April 15 published a fact sheet, under the tile "an amendment to the Lausanne statement".
Publishing of the fact sheet was requested by a group of Iranian MPs and has substantial differences with the fact sheet that was published by the U.S. Department of State.
The fact sheet of Iran, which was published by Fars news agency on April 15, has emphasized the need for lifting of sanctions outright on the first day after the deal. Meanwhile, the duration of the comprehensive deal has been set to five years, while the Lausanne statement had set the duration to 10 years.
The Iranian foreign minister has said that the ministry is working to draft a fact sheet on the agreement reached in Lausanne.
Along this line, 213 members of the Iranian parliament called the foreign ministry to publish the fact sheet, but Ali Akbar Velayati, the senior advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran, said on April 14 that publishing the Lausanne fact sheet will interfere with negotiations.
