Iranian president Hassan Rouhani says there is no need to republish the Iranian nuclear agreement fact sheet since the Islamic Republic released it hours after the Lausanne nuclear accord.

"Even foreign media published our fact sheet and we enlightened the issue but some people created suspicions on the issue," Rouhani said, the state-run IRINN TV reported April 30.

Iranian media outlets published the mentioned fact sheet April 2, the president said. According to Rouhani, the sources were reliable, and there's no need to go back over the topic.

Rouhani was referring to an unofficial fact sheet, which was published by Iranian media outlets before the Lausanne nuclear deal. Conservatives in Iran insist on publishing an official fact sheet by government. Iran's government doesn't agree with the conservatives' arguments.

Previously Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior foreign policy advisor to the country's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said issuing the fact sheet would harm Iran's nuclear talks with the P5+1 group.

Publishing the fact sheet is only aimed at attracting public opinion attention, Velayati said, adding while the Lausanne statement does not have any obligation to Iran, issue of fact sheet only will harm the process of nuclear talks.

It was previously announced that Iran has prepared its version of the nuclear accord fact sheet, detailing Iran's recent nuclear framework agreement with world powers, and would publish it if necessary.

Iran and the P5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) reached a nuclear framework agreement on April 2 in Lausanne that raised hopes for achieving a comprehensive nuclear deal by June 30.

Less than 24 hours after the Lausanne accord a US fact sheet detailing parameters for a joint comprehensive plan of action was published. Iran says the US fact sheet does not reflect the truth and is a mix of right and wrong.
