Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif met and conferred with Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukio Amano following a meeting between Iranian and US negotiators.

Details of the meeting have not yet been revealed but it seems it had focussed on outcome of Amano's visit to Tehran and drawing frameworks of Iran-IAEA cooperation on possible military dimensions (PMD) or alleged studies.

Prior to the meeting, Amano had told reporters that the aim of his Tehran visit was to settle remaining issues and 'in this concern, we have had progress but lots of work still remain.'
Amano maintained that with cooperation of Iran he could present a report on assessment of PMD related issues.

Zarif and his US counterpart John Kerry are to resume negotiations soon. Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and the US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz resumed technical talks after the Iran-US meeting.

Deputy Foreign Ministers Abbass Araqchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi and Deputy EU Foreign Policy Adviser Helga Schmid held talks for hours in the morning. They are also in talks in the afternoon.
