Deputy foreign minister and top nuclear negotiator Seyyed Abbas Araqchi said here on Monday that according to authentic opinion polls the majority of Iranians both Support the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and are also pleased with it, IRNA reported.

The Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araqchi who was speaking with country's university researchers and media analysts while offering some details on successfully completed the nuclear negations with six world powers and details of the JPOCA answered their questions on UN nuclear watchdog's post-agreement inspections, the Arak heavy water reactor, and the authorized source that will survey Iran's of the Sextet's probable complaints about improper implementation of the JCPOA, informing the students and journalists of the Iranians' positive public opinion about the agreement.

The Iranian diplomat did not refer to the exact statistics of the opinion polls he highlighted though.

Araqchi praised the appropriate political growth and maturity of the general Iranian pubic in recognizing the national interests and the macro-scale security sensitivities of the country, ensuring them that President Rouhani's cabinet tries to observe maximum possible transparency in informing the public due to the high respect they feel for the Iranian society.

'With all due respect for the scientific surveys on Iranian nation's opinion on the JCPOA, the agreement's international and regional aftermaths, too, are definitely worth thorough consideration and survey,' said the top member of the Iranian nuclear negotiation team.
