Iran sent the second aid cargo shipment to Yemen, Amiroddin Rouhnavaz the head of Rescue Department of Iran's Red Crescent Society told Yemen's official Saba news agency, Mar. 6.
The Yemen capital Sanaa, which is now controlled by Houthis Shiite militia, received the humanitarian cargo transited by Iran.
The first Iranian flight landed in Sanaa on March 1, a day after officials from the Shia-controlled city signed an aviation agreement with Tehran.
Houthis rebels captured Sanaa on Sept. 21 and fanned out south and east seizing traditional Sunni areas.
