President Hassan Rouhani departed on Tuesday for Turkmenistan, IRNA reported.
The two day official visit was by the official invitation of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
The official ceremony will be held on Wednesday at the presidential palace.
After the meeting between the two presidents, the two sides' high ranking delegations will sign MoU on expansion of mutual cooperation and partake in a joint press conference.
President Rouhani and his companions will return to Tehran Wednesday evening.
