Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that military action against Yemen and destroying the country's infrastructure is not appreciated.
Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with Pakistani National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in Islamabad, IRNA news agency reported April 10.
After the Shia group Ansarullah (Houthi) rose to power in Yemen, a Saudi-led coalition started pounding the country, killing armed fighters as well as civilians and destroying the country's infrastructure.
The Pakistani parliament speaker, for his part, said that all the sides involved in Yemen's ongoing crisis have to gather for talks in order to find a political approach to the situation.
The disintegration of Muslims will only serve the enemies of Islam, Sadiq said, calling for reunifying all groups in the Muslim world.
Zarif's visit to Islamabad was the second leg of a trip which took him first to Omani capital Muscat. He departed for Tehran April 9.
