Iran's foreign minister says the Islamic Republic will do its best to curb strike over Yemen, killing defenseless people and destroying the infrastructure of country.

During a meeting with the Deputy of Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal al-Miqdad, Mohammad Javad Zarif announced its country's serious concerns about "the bloodshed in Yemen as Saudi Arabia continues brutal military campaign against that", IRNA reported Apr.20.

Leading a coalition of ten Arab states, Saudi Arabia started airstrikes against Yemeni Houthi fighters on March 26.

Saudi Arabia and some other regional countries accuse Iran of backing the Houthi group, Iran denies that.

Iran has offered a 4-stage plan last week to resolve the crisis in Yemen, but its proposals were rejected by Yemeni Government, saying that Iran is not in neutral position in this dispute. This 4-stage plan, starts with halting the attacks, urges philanthropic, humanization aids which are necessary considering the extreme situations in Yemen and establishing a comprehensive government with participating of all sides in power.
