Baku, Azerbaijan, Apr.24

By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iran seeks to remove ambiguities in the nuclear talks through negotiation, Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani said.

"We are faced with adventurism of western countries for over 10 years on the nuclear issue. But, Iran seeks to remove ambiguities in the nuclear talks through negotiation," Iran's IRNA news agency quoted Larijani as saying on April 24.

The West should acknowledge that they had followed a deceitful approach during the nuclear talks, he said.

"They believed that they could force Iran to abandon its nuclear program through military operation in the region."

Previously, Larijani praised the nuclear negotiators' hard work during the talks between Iran the P5+1 group.

"One of the nuclear talks' achievements is resolving a fabricated negative atmosphere against Iran," he said.

Iran and P5+1 group of countries - Russia, China, France, Britain, the US, and Germany - reached a mutual understanding on Tehran's nuclear program on April 2 in Switzerland. The two sides are expected to start drafting a final inclusive deal, which they seek to sign by the end of June.
