Nuclear team’s power dearer than centrifuges – Iran’s Rouhani

Tehran, Iran, Apr. 29

By Mehdi Sepahvand - Trend:

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the power of the country's nuclear negotiation team is more precious and important to the government than nuclear centrifuges are.

We are proud of our nuclear scientists and our politicians, Rouhani said while visiting the city of Shiraz as part of the government's sixteenth provincial visit since his presidency.

We will revoke the entire unjust resolutions of the United Nations by the power of reason, he said, YJC news agency reported April 29.

We will not brag from podiums, but would rather go to the UN and revoke the Security Council sanctions, Rouhani said.

Elsewhere in his speech, the Iranian president stressed that his government will do its best to open the gates of export. He underlined the significance of economic growth and the future of the country's economy once economic sanctions are removed.

Rouhani said that his administration managed to control economic inflation and boost production even before the sanctions are removed.

Since Rouhani came to office, Iran's economic inflation has fallen from 40 percent to about 15 percent.

The current Iranian administration has adopted the policy to open up to the world and create economic opportunities with other countries.

Iran is awaiting a nuclear deal with the group 5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) on its nuclear program whereby economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic will be removed.
