Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khameni said that the Islamic Republic enemies are trying to bring the proxy war to Iranian borders.

"We have received some information that our enemies are working with some Persian Gulf governments to bring the proxy war to Iranian borders," Khameni said, the supreme leader's official website reported May 20.

The Islamic Republic will respond decisively to any "mischief," Khamenei added. He did not unveil further details on the issue.

Iran is already clashing with some regional countries in particular Saudi Arabia over a number of issues, especially their support for opposing sides in the Syrian and Yemen civil war. Saudi Arabia and its allies accuse the Islamic Republic of destabilizing the region, something that Tehran denies.

Khamenei also spoke about the nuclear issue saying that the counter side is bullying in the nuclear talks, but Iran will not accept that.

The enemies will offer more excessive demands, if Iranian nuclear negotiators retreat, Khamenei said. He also said that Iranian government would never give up to excessive demands.

Khamenei further emphasized that Iran will never allow foreigners to inspect its military centers. He said that the counter side has brought new issues to the negotiations.

"Now they say that Iran should allow them to interview with the Islamic Republic's nuclear scientists," Khamenei said, adding this means interrogation.

"I do not allow foreigners to talk with Iranian scientists," he emphasized.

Iran and the P5+1 (the United States, France, Britain, Russia and China plus Germany) group of countries reached a mutual understanding on Tehran's nuclear program in the Swiss city of Lausanne on April 2.The parties have agreed to finalize a comprehensive deal on Tehran 's nuclear program by the end of June.
