Araqi said the plane had flown to Djibouti last week and despite coordination made with the UN and the World Food Program, it was not allowed again to land in Djibouti, Irna reported.

He said the plane has now landed in Chabahar Port to have consultations on behalf of the Foreign Ministry to get permission for landing in Djibouti.

Riyadh has launched its military aggression against Yemen since March 26 - without a UN mandate - in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement, which currently controls the capital, Sana'a, and other major provinces, and also to restore power to Hadi, who is a staunch ally of Riyadh.

Since March 19, the United Nations says, over 1,800 people have been killed and 7,330 others injured due to the conflict in Yemen.
