Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano conferred with President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran on Thursday, IRNA reported.
President Rouhani and Amano discussed topics such as Iran-IAEA relations within the cooperation framework document and how to expedite resolving all issues, including the past nuclear activities of Iran.
Amano had met US Secretary of State John Kerry in Vienna before travelling to Tehran.
The IAEA chief also met secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani earlier today.
