By Fatih Karimov - Trend: No government-led celebration will be held in Iran after the nuclear deal, said Hossein Ali Amiri, the spokesman of Iran 's Interior Ministry.
"We do not intend to hold any government-led celebration, and so far the Interior Ministry has received no request from the administration in this regard," Iran's ISNA news agency quoted Amiri as saying July 13.
"Political parties and formations have also not put in requests, as well. So, any gathering in this line will be illegal and will be dealt with."
Meanwhile Interior Minister Abdorreza Rahmani Fazli has announced the ministry's readiness to hold a celebration in the wake of the nuclear deal. "We have announced all provinces and the enforcement force to be ready for people's participation," Rahmani Fazli said.
"People are self-motivated to hold the celebration, and we are also prepared."
However, Saeed Montazerolmahdi, the spokesman of Iran's police, said on July 12 that police are ready to accompany people celebrating the nuclear deal, provided that it is within the frame of law and Islamic codes.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on July 12 that Iran 's negotiating team would be victorious during nuclear talks with the P5+1 group.
"The country, people, and the negotiating team have carried out their responsibilities towards the talks," he said.
After missing several deadlines, Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China - plus Germany are still holding intensive talks in Vienna to iron out the remaining differences and nail down a landmark deal on Tehran's nuclear program.
"No extension, we will finish hopefully. We need some more time. We need to do some more work," Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said July 12 following a meeting with his US counterpart John Kerry.
