Iran is ready to root out the international terrorism, said the country's president Hassan Rouhani, speaking at the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on Sep.28.

He said that occupation of Iraq by the U.S and its support for Israel led to spreading terrorism in the region, Press TV reported.

'With a view to fighting ignorance, dictatorship, poverty, corruption, terrorism, violence and their social, political, cultural, economic and security impacts,I would like to invite the whole world and especially the countries of my region to form a 'joint comprehensive plan of action' to create a United Front Against Extremism and Violence'.

'This front must: '-Create a collective and global movement to tackle regional problems in a serious manner through dialogue;

'-Prevent the slaughter of innocent people and the bombardment of civilians,as well as, the promotion of violence and killing of other human beings;

'- Provide for stability in cooperation with established central governments to maintain stability

'-And once stability is established, build diplomacy and democratic governance in the Middle East region.

Rouhani also said that recent deadly crush in Saudi Arabia was the result of Saudi authorities' incompetence and mismanagement.

He said the feelings of millions of Muslims, hurt by the incident, amount to spiritual loss which cannot be compensated for simply by material means.

"The public opinion demands that Saudi authorities discharge, without delay, their international responsibility in providing immediate consular access for the quick identification and returning of the bodies," he said.

"It is also required that the necessary conditions be provided for [conducting] an independent and precise inquiry into the causes of the [Mina] disaster and [working out] methods for preventing a repeat of that in the future," President Rouhani added.

The number of Iranian pilgrims killed in the recent tragedy in Saudi Arabia's Mina has increased to 226 with around 250 more still unaccounted for.

The Saudi Health Ministry says around 770 people lost their lives in the crush in Mina, near the holy city of Mecca, on September 24.

He also said that Iran ready to establish the peace in Yemen and Syria, like its efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

"Iran supports the ruling of majority. It is quite regretfully to see the national upbringings in the region were deviated by terrorists,' he said. "Iran's willingness is pushing forward its peaceful policy in the region based on win-win principles".

Rouhani also added that Iran doesn't forget the past, but never wants to remind at that and looks at future.

Iranian president said that the country is committed to commence nuclear deal (achieved on July 14) entirely.

Immediately after the JCPOA was signed, said President Rouhani, it was approved by the UN Security Council as an international document.

He also said the agreement has laid the groundwork for broader relations between Iran and other countries.

"Today, a new chapter has been opened in Iran's relations with the world."
