Agreement has been reached to step up humanitarian aid to the war-torn Syria, said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who is attending a seminar on global politics in Switzerland, IRNA reported Nov. 23.
Another agreement was reached by Amirabdollahian and Wolfgang Bruelhart, head of Middle East and North Africa Division at Swiss Federal Foreign Affairs Department, to hold a tripartite meeting in Tehran with participation of Iran, Switzerland and Syria.
Iranian deputy foreign minister added that the latest developments in Yemen and Syria were also discussed as part of his visit to Switzerland.
