Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has warned against "infiltration" in Iran, said the message on his official website.

The infiltration currents mean creating networks among the people in the country aimed at changing ideals, beliefs, values and lifestyles using money and the attraction of the opposite sex.

Khamenei said the infiltration is important, the supreme leader's official website quoted him as saying Nov 25. He made the remarks addressing a gathering of Basij (volunteer force) commanders in Tehran.

Infiltration through making networks among people is more dangerous than infiltration by individuals, he said.

He went on to say that enemy is organizing conspiracy against the Islamic Republic.

"Enemy's infiltration is a very important issue; reality of infiltration cannot be ignored as the enemy is plotting," the leader said.

Then he criticized the domestic critics of the Basij and said indeed, those who accuse the volunteer force of extremism, they contribute to the enemy's infiltration.

Back in October, addressing the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy commanders and staff, Khamenei used the word "infiltration", describing it as the US officials' efforts to engage in direct talks with Iranian officials in topics other than nuclear talks.

However Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Nov. 4 warned against misinterpreting the supreme leader's remarks regarding the "infiltration of foreigners".
