Modi will arrive in Iran on Sunday evening with a big political, economic, and security delegation, Fars news agency reported May 22.

The projects include ones about India's investment in the Iranian free-zone port of Chabahar.

Another document which will be signed by Iran and India as well as Pakistan during Modi's visit is one about a transit project in the same area which is expected to boost trade between the three countries greatly.

Modi also plans to meet Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday, after being formally greeted by President Hassan Rouhani.

Speaking of his trip, Modi recently said energy projects are the main items on agenda, pointing out the development of Iran's Farzad-B oil field as one of the greatest.
