US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in the coming days, IRIB news agency reported June 14.

Meanwhile, Iran diplomats on June 14 met with their counterparts from the European Union to discuss the implementation of Iran's nuclear deal, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Early in the morning, foreign minister deputies Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi met the EU's deputy chief for foreign affairs Helga Schmid.

Later, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met Schmid's superior Federica Mogherini to round up the discussions.

The talks were held on the sidelines of Oslo Forum 2016.

Zarif will address the forum later the day, giving a speech about "settlement of regional conflicts."

He is scheduled to meet the US Secretary of State John Kerry the following day, the report said.

Iran blames the US in particular for banking relations not easing nearly six months after the JCPOA was put into action.

Later that day, the Iranian foreign minister will travel to Berlin to hold a meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
