Sofia is ready to become a corridor for export of Iran products to the European countries, visiting Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said on Monday, IRNA reported.

He made the remarks in a meeting with President Hassan Rouhani.

Sofia is committed to boost all-out ties with Iran, Borissov said.

He underlined that Bulgaria and Iran ties should enhance to a significant and unmatched level.

Bulgaria can become the gate for entrance of Iran to the European market, Borissov added.

He referred to the deep historical and cultural relations between Iranian and Bulgarian people and noted that the ground is ready for promotion of ties between Tehran and Sofia.

Sofia is trying to create a new corridor for Iran in the region to facilitate export of Iranian products to the European market, the Bulgarian premier said.

Iranian and Bulgarian officials inked three agreements on cooperation here on Monday.

The inking ceremony was held in the presence of Iran's First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri and visiting Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.

Technology and communications, joint investment and industry have been the fields of the agreements.

Borissov, heading a high-ranking economic delegation, arrived in Tehran late on Sunday.

On Monday morning, he was welcomed by Jahangiri in the cultural and historical complex of Saadabad in north of Tehran.
