Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov will pay an official visit to Tehran Aug. 31.
Ryabkov, who headed Russian negotiating team in world powers’ nuclear talks with Iran, is scheduled to meet with Iranian officials, Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan Dzhagaryan, said, Tasnim news agency reported Aug. 30.
The top Russian diplomat will exchange viewpoints with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, during his stay in Tehran, the ambassador added.
Iran and the P5+1 Group including US, UK, France, Russia, China plus Germany implemented a comprehensive nuclear agreement in mid-January 2016, which led to elimination of western sanctions on the Islamic Republic.
