Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani is expected to arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, on Oct. 5.
Parviz Esmaeili, deputy for communications and information at the president’s office, has said the visit will take place at the official invitation of Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang, Mehr news agency reported Oct. 4.
According to the report, the presidents are slated to discuss expansion of bilateral ties.
Parviz Esmaeili added that the sides are also expected to sign several documents on the expansion of cooperation.
An economic delegation will also accompany President Rouhani during the visit.
