Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has called for constructive interaction with the world.
“We are neither xenophiles nor xenophobic. We are Muslims and Iranians and we will use constructive interaction with the world in favor of our people and national interest,” IRNA news agency quoted him as saying on Jan. 30.
Rouhani made the remarks on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution at the mausoleum of Iranian revolution’s late leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
President Rouhani further elaborated on the goals of the Islamic
Revolution and urged the country to follow up on its aspirations.
