Iran will unveil a “state-of-the-art” tank under the name Karrar which has been completely designed and manufactured by the country’s military sector, Tasnim news agency reported March 11.
The tank will be unveiled March 12 in a ceremony which is to be attended by Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan.
At the same time with the unveiling ceremony, the production line of the tank will be inaugurated in Bani Hashem Defense Industrial Complex in Dorud, Lorestan Province in western Iran.
Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headway in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.
