Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani met with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Mar. 28 in Moscow, wherein the two sides discussed regional and international topics as well as the issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting Rouhani expressed hope that his visit to Russia will deepen Tehran-Moscow ties, Iran’s state-run IRINN TV reported.
He further said that regional stability is the ultimate goal of the
cooperation between the two countries.
Rouhani arrived in Moscow on March 27 on a two-day visit at the official invitation of his Russian counterpart President Putin.
According to media reports, the sides are expected to ink about 10 documents on cooperation.
