Iran has condemned the Paris terror attack, which killed one policeman and seriously wounded two other people.

Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Spokesman Bahram Qasemi, commenting on the attack, wrote on his official Telegram page that “unfortunately appeasement or sometimes support to terror groups by the West has been making the terrorists rabid”.

He accused the West of double standards on terror groups.

Iran names all of Syrian opposition militants terrorists.

The “Islamic State” (IS) terrorists undertook the responsibility of the attack in central Paris on Apr. 20.

“It [the Islamic State] identified the attacker as one of its soldiers naming him as Abu Yousif, the Belgian,” Reuters reported.

Qasemi said that terrorism is the biggest and most pressing threat against global peace and security, which won’t be eliminated unless international community reaches a common sense, determination and an honest decision to fight it.
