A resident of the Iranian city of Mashhad 24-year-old Neda Alemi gave birth to seven children, a statement posted on the website of the Iranian TV channel Iribnews says.
Alemi gives birth to children for the second time. The woman gave birth to two boys and five girls, but one of the boys died some time later.
Five newborns feel good, but one of the girls have health problems, Fatima Tara, chief doctor of the clinic, said. The weight of each newborn is 720-940 grams and their chances for survival - 70-80 percent.
Alemi's family lives in a rented apartment. The head of the family is a worker. The family appealed to the government for help.
