Tehran hopes that Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance will give permission for the supply of Iran's meat and dairy products in late February-early March, Iran's ambassador to Russia, Mehdi Sanai said, RIA Novosti reported.

"The coordination process is underway," he said at a press-conference Feb. 10. "We hope that perhaps we will receive permission to export dairy and meat products from Iran to Russia in late February and early March. We also hope that the possible issues with the Customs Union will be clarified. The cooperation with Iran in this area will intensify in 2015."
