An Iranian passenger plane en route from Ahvaz City to Kharg Island has slid from the runway after it touched the ground at an airport in the Kharg Island.
The incident took place at 13:00 local time (GMT+4:30) and no casualties were reported, said IRNA news agency.
Reza Jafarzadeh, director of the public relations office at Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, has said the heavy winds caused the accident.
According to the report, the plane belonged to Mahan Air.
