A medical staff member died in a rescue helicopter crash in Iran’s northern province of Mazandaran, while three other medical staff members on board got injured.
The air ambulance hit a power pole while landing to rescue two people who had been injured in a car crash, Yusof Jaghata, director of the local Road and Urban Development Department told Fars news agency September 21.
As a result, a medical staff member aged 38 died, while another one along with the pilot and copilot were severely injured, he said.
