An Iranian military plane crashed in Iranshahr city in south eastern Sistan and Balouchestan province, killing the pilot and co-pilot, Tasnim news agency reported.
The ultra-light plane, belonging to the Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) was returning from a reconnaissance operation, when the incident occurred.
The crash occurred Oct. 10 near the Iran-Pakistan border.
It was earlier reported that the plane hit power cables, meanwhile an informed source rejected the reports, saying that the IRGC pilots know the region perfectly and are aware about the location of the power cables.
