![]() Azerbaijan, Baku, May 6 /Trend News, V.Zhavoronkova/ Russia hopes the US administration will assist in eliminating differences developing between NATO and Moscow, Russian Permanent Representative to NATO Dmitriy Rogozin told Trend News in a telephone conversation from Brussels. "I think the US president, as we at least expect, will interfere and deal with those who created this provocation," Rogozin said. "Finally, this is his organization, but not ours." On May 6, Russia deprived two Canadian diplomats' accreditation in response to the expulsion of two Russian representatives to NATO from Belgium. The Russian Foreign Ministry said in its official statement that this step was taken "in response to NATO's unfriendly act against the Russian representatives to NATO".
Rogozin said at the ambassadorial meeting of NATO that the Alliance's Secretary General has not even informed the immediate neighborhood, ambassadors of the states who are accredited and working within NATO about Russian diplomats' expulsion. Read more news in category Exclusive:
