An earthquake hit Azerbaijani district of Shamakhi, Republican Seismic Survey Center reported.
According to the report, the quake of magnitude 3.30 and intensity of 3.5 points was registered Tuesday 24 km south-west from Shamakhi at 21:57 local time. The earthquake was felt 3.0 points in Shamakhi and 2.5 point in the communities closest to the epicentre.
The quake caused no injuries or damage.
