This morning anexchange office was attacked in Baku.
An unknown individual wounded a Debutbank Exchange Office No. 24 employee on Ataturk Avenue in Baku's Narimanov district. He stole the money from the exchange office and ran after wounding Tarlan Melikov, Narimanov District Deputy Prosecutor Javid Guliyev told Trend News today.
According to the official, Melikov was taken to the hospital.
The Narimanov District Police Department filed a lawsuit according the "robbery" article of the national criminal code.
According to preliminary data, the attacker acted alone. However, the investigation team has not rule out that the crime was organized by a group, Guliyev said.
The amount stolen has not been specified, he said. Law enforcement agencies are conducting operational and search activities.
