Five fishermen went missing last night in the Iranian sector of the Caspian Sea near Babulsar in the Mazandaran province, Iribnews reported.
The Mazandaran Province Fishery Security Service reported that the fishermen left to fish with non-standard equipment and went missing after severe weather conditions.
The service's employees are engaged in rescue operations.
More than 15 fishermen went missing in the area March 14and were found after lengthy rescue operations.
