A bomb scare hit Baku's National Flag Square in the early hours of Saturday morning, the website of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
The appropriate authorities were also informed.
While searching the area, officers of Ministry of Emergency Situations found a suspicious object that turned out to be two cartridges for firecrackers.
The officers sent the object to the appropriate organizations. The operation ended at 5:43 a.m..
