Two more earthquakes hit Zagatala region of Azerbaijan in the morning on Saturday.
Tremors were registered at 07:01 local time, 14 km from the district center, National Seismological Service told Trend. The second tremor occurred at 08:18 at the same place. There are no victims.
The earthquake hits Zagatala also on Friday. Tremors measuring 6 were registered at 19:45 local time 15 km south of the district center.
Today the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has sent additional forces to the site. The population remaining homeless will be provided with tents and essential commodities.
Zagatala is located in 411 km from Baku in the north-west of Azerbaijan.
The first and the most powerful earthquakes occurred here on May 7.
Total of 485 houses had been destroyed, 6464 houses in 56 towns and 204 social object came into the emergency state in the result of the earthquakes from May 7 to May 15
Some 6949 families whose homes were destroyed or went to the emergency state, were temporarily housed in tents - 3980 families, the rest of the family - in other places.
