An explosion followed by fire took place in a house with an area of 30 square meters in Surakhani district of Baku, which was owned by a family of internally displaced persons (IDPs), Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry's official website reported.
As a result of the incident, 3 people died, 2 others were injured.
Forces of the State Fire Prevention and Rescue Service of the Emergency Situations Ministry immediately arrived in the scene, and the relevant authorities were informed.
Sahila Rahimova (born in 1965) and her son Ramin Asgerov (born in 1991) were rescued out of the rubble. The accident killed father of the family Nushiravan Asgerov (1961) and his two sons - Natig Asgerov (1985) and Rafiq Asgerov (1987).
The incident is being investigated at present.
